In India, there are number of statutes that deal with the Consumer Protection. The Consumer Consumer Lawprotection Act, 1986 is a mile stone in the history of socio economic legislation in India. In daily life every one purchases goods and utilize goods they require. There have been cases of defect in goods, cheating and deficiency in services by the trader. Consumer Protection Act, 1986 has been enacted to rescue the consumers.
