A bench comprising Justice DY Chandrachud, Justice Surya Kant and Justice Vikram Nath of the Supreme Court on Tuesday permitted NEET-PG candidates to submit a representation to the Union Government to seek the extension date of the May 31, 2022 deadline for internship for NEET-PG admission. The Supreme Court said that this was a policy matter and it wouldn’t interfere with the right of the government. Besides this, it has however allowed petitioners to submit representation to the Union government and asked the same to be decided within week of its submission.
